Get an email alert whenever a foreign visitor checks in at a Location, sent to one person or to a distribution list.
Before you start
- You need the Global Admin role, or the Local Admin role at the Location.
- The Location's Visit Types must collect Citizenship. Turn on Capture visitor's citizenship for each Visit Type on the Visit Types tab. See how to configure Visit Types.
Note: A visitor counts as foreign when their citizenship differs from the country the Location is in. For example, at a Location in Canada, every visitor who isn't a Canadian citizen is a foreign visitor, even if your company is based elsewhere.
Steps
- Hover over the Settings icon on the left side of the window.
- Click Locations.
- Search for or select the Location.
- Select the Options tab.
- In the Citizenship Email Notification box, enter the email address of the person or distribution list to notify.
- Click Save.
Result
Whenever a foreign visitor checks in at the Location, the address you entered receives an email. It shows the visitor's name and photo (if available), the Location, the date and check-in time, the visitor's country of citizenship, and the host's name.
