Require a Video Acknowledgment for a Visit Type

Have visitors with a Visit Type watch and acknowledge a video when they check in.

Before you start

• You need the Global Admin or Local Admin role. 
• Upload the video to Vimeo and copy its direct link. See How to access my video's direct links in the Vimeo Help Center.

Steps

1. Hover over the Settings icon on the left side of the window.
2. Click Locations.
3. Click the Location that needs the Video Acknowledgement.
4. Click the Custom Fields tab, then create a custom field. 
5. From the field type drop-down menu, select Video.
6. Enter a name for the custom field.
7. In File URL, paste the video's direct link.
8. (Optional) In Days to remember previous response, enter how many days to wait before a returning visitor has to watch the video again.
9. Click SAVE.
10. Click the Visit Types tab, then click the Edit icon for the Visit Type that needs to acknowledge the video.
11. Under Sign-In Fields, add the custom field and set it to required. The visitor isn't asked to acknowledge the video unless the field is required.
12. Click SAVE.

Result

When visitors with this Visit Type check in at the Kiosk, they watch the video and acknowledge it on its own screen after the registration form.
