Add a transform claim rule in Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) so it sends each user's email address to SV3 Enterprise, completing your Single Sign-On (SSO) setup.
Before you start
- Add SV3 Enterprise as a relying party trust in ADFS, and keep the Edit Claim Rules dialog open.
- A transform claim rule maps an incoming claim type to an outgoing claim type. Here, it sends the Active Directory email address as the user's Name ID.
Steps
- In the Edit Claim Issuance Policy dialog, under Issuance Transform Rules, click Add Rule.
- In Claim rule template, select Send LDAP Attributes as Claims, and then click Next.
- In Claim rule name, enter any name, for example
SV3_ID. - In Attribute store, select Active Directory.
- In the first row of the Mapping of LDAP attributes to outgoing claim types table, under LDAP Attribute, select E-Mail-Address.
- In the same row, under Outgoing Claim Type, select Name ID.
- Click Finish.
- Click OK to save the rule and close the dialog.
Result
SSO setup is complete. Users can now sign in to SV3 Enterprise with SSO.
