Learn which kinds of watchlists Visual Compliance Visitor Screening checks your visitors against, and how to change them.
What the lists cover
When you turn on Visual Compliance Visitor Screening, SV3 Enterprise checks every visitor against the major export and regulatory lists. The lists Building Intelligence customers typically screen against fall into six groups:
- Export-related restricted, denied, and blocked persons lists, for example the Department of Commerce Denied Persons List and Entity List, and Department of State debarred parties.
- Sanction program blocked persons lists, for example the U.S. Treasury Department Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons list, and the United Nations Consolidated List.
- General Services Administration (GSA) exclusion lists of parties excluded from federal procurement, nonprocurement, and reciprocal programs.
- Law enforcement wanted persons lists, for example the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives and the U.S. Marshals Service Top 15 Most Wanted.
- Politically exposed persons and Office of Inspector General lists, covering foreign chiefs of state and cabinet members, and parties excluded from federal health and Medicare programs.
- International terrorist, blocked person, wanted, and entity lists, for example the European Union Consolidated List, Interpol Recently Wanted, and the HM Treasury Consolidated List.

Changing the lists you screen against
Visual Compliance manages which lists your account screens against. To add or remove lists, contact Visual Compliance at servicedesk@descartes.com.
What a match means
A match on any list sets the visitor's status to Pending Approval. A Security Officer, Local Admin, or Global Admin reviews the visitor and approves or denies them.
