Turn on Single Sign-On (SSO) in SV3 Enterprise and exchange metadata with your Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) server.
Before you start
- You must be a Global Admin.
- Meet the prerequisites in About Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Get your ADFS Federation Metadata XML file from
https://sso.mydomain.com/federationmetadata/2007-06/federationmetadata.xml, wheresso.mydomain.comis the public DNS name of your ADFS endpoint. If you don't use ADFS, get your organization's identity provider metadata. - In AD FS Management, under Service > Endpoints, note the URL Path for SAML 2.0/WS-Federation. With default settings, it's
/adfs/ls/.
Steps
- Point to the Settings icon on the left side of the window, and then click Integrations.
- Click Configure for Single Sign On.
- Set Enable single sign-on to Enable.
- Paste the contents of your ADFS metadata XML file into the Identity provider metadata box.
- Click Save.
- Click Download to download the SV3 Enterprise metadata file.
- Copy the SV3 Enterprise metadata file to your ADFS server, or to a location the server can reach.
Result
SSO is on in SV3 Enterprise, and your ADFS server has the SV3 Enterprise metadata. Next, add SV3 Enterprise as a relying party trust in ADFS.
