Create a Kiosk Template

Create a Kiosk Template to brand your Kiosks with your company logo, a welcome image, and a welcome message. You can use the template at any Location in your account.

Before you start

  • You need the Global Admin role.
  • Have your images ready as JPG or PNG files in the RGB color space.
  • The Company Logo can be up to 162 pixels wide and 46 pixels high.
  • The Welcome Image can be up to 768 pixels wide and 416 pixels high.

Steps

  1. Hover over the Settings icon on the left side of the window.
  2. Click Global Settings.
  3. You should be at the Theme tab by default. Click Create Template in the top right corner.
  4. Enter a Template Name.
  5. Add a Company Logo. Browse for the file, or drag it into the logo space.
  6. Add a Welcome Image. Browse for the file, or drag it into the image space.
  7. Enter a Welcome Message.
  8. Click Save at the bottom of the form.

Note: You may see a few Kiosk Templates in Global Settings that you didn't create. These are stock templates that come with SV3 Enterprise.

Result

Your new Kiosk Template appears in Global Settings. On the Kiosk, it looks like this:

  • The Company Logo appears in the header of every Kiosk screen.
  • The Welcome Image appears in the center of the Kiosk Home Screen.
  • The Welcome Message appears along the top of the Home Screen, under the Company Logo.

Visitors see the Welcome Image and Welcome Message only until they tap Start. To use the template, see how to edit Location details.

Troubleshooting

  • The logo or Welcome Image won't save. Check that the file is a JPG or PNG in the RGB color space and within the size limits above.
