Have visitors take a Visitor Photo when they check in at a Kiosk and choose which iPad camera takes it.
Before you start
- You need the Global Admin or Local Admin role.
- Visitor Photo is turned on or off for each Visit Type, not for each Kiosk. The Kiosk setting only controls which camera takes the photo.
- If you use the rear-facing camera, make sure the Kiosk enclosure doesn't cover it
Steps
- Hover over the Settings icon on the left side of the window.
- Click Locations.
- Under Location Management, click the Location.
- Click the Edit (Pencil) icon for the Visit Type
- Under Additional Visit Type Options, turn Capture Visitor's Photo on or off.
- Click Save.
- Click the Kiosks tab.
- Click the Edit (Pencil) icon for the Kiosk.
- Under Visitor Photo Options, select Front Camera or Rear Camera. Front Camera is the default.
- Click Save.
Result
Visitors who check in with this Visit Type take a Visitor Photo using the camera set for the Kiosk. The photo prints on the Visitor Badge, and a thumbnail appears on the Dashboard.
