Ask visitors to sign a document, such as a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), when they check in at the Kiosk.
Before you start
- You need to be a Global Admin or Local Admin to assign a document to a Visit Type.
- Each Visit Type can have multiple documents.
Steps
- Go to Settings, then Global Settings
- Create the document by clicking the Documents tab at the top right, then clicking Create Document. For details, see how to create a new document.
- Go to Settings, then Locations.
- Select the Location where we need a document signed.
- Select the "Visit Types" tab.
- Open the Visit Type that should require the document. For details, see how to configure Visit Types.
- Scroll to Document Selection and select the document.
- Save the Visit Type.
- Optional: To receive a copy of each signed document, enter an email address on the Email Visitor Signed Documents in the Options tab under Location Management
Result
Visitors with this Visit Type see the document during Kiosk check-in and sign it on the iPad with a fingertip. A visitor gets the Visit Type when their visit is scheduled, or a walk-in visitor (an Unscheduled Visitor) selects it at the Kiosk.
Note: Visitors checked in from the Dashboard don't sign documents.
