Learn the three areas of the SV3 Enterprise screen so you know where to find each tool.
The three areas of the screen
Every page in SV3 Enterprise has the same layout:
- Header: the bar across the top of the screen. It holds your profile, the controls for scheduling visits and changing Locations, and the option to log out.
- Navigation Panel: the dark panel on the left side of the screen. You use it to switch between views, such as the Dashboard and Reports.
- Primary Workspace: the main area in the center of the screen. This is where you do the work of the current view, such as checking a visitor in on the Dashboard or changing the address of a Location.
The Header
Open your profile from the Header to see your Locations and roles and to edit your personal information. You also log out of SV3 Enterprise from here.
When the Dashboard is open, the Header shows more controls:
- New Visit: schedules a visit or checks in a visitor.
- The Location selector: switches the Dashboard to another Location you have access to.
- The time zone of the selected Location.
The Navigation Panel
The Navigation Panel shows up to four items. Which items you see depends on your role at the Location.
- Dashboard: the default view and the main place to manage visitors. From the Dashboard, you can schedule, check in, cancel, approve, or deny a visitor. It also shows visitor statistics for the Location and a calendar for viewing visitors on past or future dates.
- Reports: runs the Firelist Report, Visit Report, and User Report for a Location. You can export any report as a CSV file.
- Watchlist: lists visitors who need extra verification before they can check in.
- Settings: holds the administration pages for the account.
Settings pages
The Settings item opens these pages:
- Locations: lists all current Locations. A Global Admin can add new Locations here.
- Users: lists all current users and lets an admin add new users.
- Global Settings: lets you create Kiosk templates and add documents for visitors to sign.
- Integrations: connects SV3 Enterprise to other tools, such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
Note: Only Global Admin can see all Settings items while Local Admin users can view Locations and Users
