Background check screening compares every visitor against external watchlists, so potential matches are held for review by your security team.
What it is
SV3 Enterprise connects to outside watchlist providers through the Background Check integration. When a provider is turned on, SV3 Enterprise screens every visitor against that provider's lists automatically. The integration applies to every Location in your account, and only a Global Admin can configure it.
Supported providers
- Visual Compliance Visitor Screening screens visitors against global watchlists of suspicious or wanted individuals. See the lists Visual Compliance screens against.
- Descartes MK Denied Party Screening screens visitors against denied and restricted parties. Its content ranges from Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) lists and US Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) searches to industry lists such as US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) debarment lists and International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) wanted persons searches.
- Family Watchdog screens visitors against registered sex offender lists.
What happens when a visitor match
When screening finds a potential match, SV3 Enterprise adds the visitor to the Watchlist and sets their status to Pending Approval. A Security Officer, Local Admin, or Global Admin then approves or denies the visitor. A Receptionist can't approve or deny a visitor.
Background checks work alongside your own Watchlist. Your Watchlist holds the people your organization has flagged. A background check provider adds matches from lists maintained outside your organization.
