Set up Visitor Badge printing for a Kiosk

Connect a Kiosk to its badge printer, and let users reprint Visitor Badges from the Dashboard.

Before you start

• You need the Global Admin or Local Admin role.
• Set up the printer and pair it first. See how to set up the Brother 820 NWB printer and pair the Brother 820 NWB printer.
• Have the printer's IP address ready. The printer setup article shows how to find it.

Steps

1. Hover over the Settings icon on the left side of the window.
2. Click Locations.
3. Under Location Management, click the Location.
4. Click the Kiosks tab.
5. Click the Edit icon for the Kiosk.
6. Select the Printer type.
7. Enter the printer's IP address.
8. Select the Paper type.
9. To let users reprint badges from the Dashboard, select Dashboard printing.
10. Click Save.

Result

The Kiosk prints Visitor Badges on the printer you set. With Dashboard printing on, the Kiosk appears in the list of Kiosks you can print to from the Dashboard More icon menu, so you can reprint a Visitor Badge after the visitor has checked in.
